SPAX Partial Thread Washer Head Screws with in Delta Seal offer higher tightening torques compared to countersunk head screws. Ideal for fastening slats & squared timbers with reduced screwing-in torque and corrosion protection.
BENEFITS
Higher tightening torques compared to countersunk head screw
Fastening of slats & squared timbers (e.g. secure fastening of roof battens)
PARTIAL THREAD
In principle, all of screws can be organised into two groups: screws with partial thread and screws with full thread. Screws with partial thread are ideal for fastening components like engineered wood boards, panels, floorboards and even squared timbers on load-bearing components like stud framing or posts. While the thread makes its way through the load-bearing component, the thread-free shank of the partial thread screw should pull all the way through the top attachment.
DELTA SEAL
Exceeds the corrosion protection when compared with class 4 hot-dipped galvanised products*
Ideal for use in CCA, ACQ and LOSP treated timbers
Free of chrome(IV) so more environmentally friendly than traditional coatings
Includes a glidecoat lubricant coating for reduced torque during installation
WASHER HEAD SCREWS
Higher tightening torques compared to countersunk head screw
Fastening of slats & squared timbers (e.g. secure fastening of roof battens)
Significantly reduced screwing-in torque and lower splitting
