Shearing Pressure Plate
The shearing plate is a specially designed plate connector for absorbing shearing forces in modern timber construction. Its versatile holes for anchoring in wood and concrete make it suitable for use in timber frame and solid timber construction. With a high shear load-bearing capacity and fewer connectors required, the shearing plate offers many advantages for various applications.
Product Uses
The shearing plate is suitable for use in timber frame and solid timber construction. Its versatile design allows for installation in both wood and concrete, making it a highly adaptable solution for a variety of construction projects.
Technical Data
The shearing plate features 6 slanted screw connection holes and 41 holes for angle-bracket screws (ABSs) or anchor nails for anchoring in wood. Depending on the application, two additional partial utilisations of the fixing holes are available as static-type calculations. Anchoring in concrete is carried out using the holes (Ø 14 mm) provided for this purpose with rock concrete screw or bolt anchors.
With its high shear load-bearing capacity and versatile design, the shearing plate is an ideal solution for modern timber construction projects. Its ability to be used in both wood and concrete makes it a highly adaptable and valuable addition to any construction project.
