FIDDES Interior | CLEAR GLAZE Clear Gloss Interior for Timber Protection

Fiddes Clear Glaze is an easy to use, superior quality interior single pack finish, formulated to provide very high standards of resistance and surface abrasion on most interior wood surfaces.

Applied by brush or pad, Fiddes Clear glaze is exceptionally easy to apply, exhibiting excellent flow and high build properties.

Fiddes Clear Glaze also offers a high degree of protection and is ideal for application on to floors and working surfaces where durability and quality of finish are the primary requirements.

Preparation

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any previous finish.

Fill any cracks/knots with Fiddes Floor Filler Gel where required.

Sand the substrate with a fine 120/150 grade sanding paper or 120/150 grit sanding disk, removing all traces of dust.

Application

Ensure all areas to be coated are extremely well ventilated during and after application.

Always test on a small area prior to initial application.

Maximum 2 coats recommended, 3 on softwood.

Apply at room temperature.

Fiddes Clear Glaze is formulated for application directly, thin 10% with White Spirit if required.

Coats

2 coats on hardwood, maximum of 3 coats on softwood or more porous timber.

Stir contents thoroughly before and during use, and apply in a warm, well-ventilated room.

Apply THINLY using Fiddes Floor Oil Brush or a good quality bristle or synthetic brush or roller, and lay EVENLY, following the direction of the grain.

Leave to dry 4-6 hours in warm, dry well-ventilated conditions.

Repeat as above for second coat. Clean applicators with White Spirits.

14sqm per litre, depending on substrate and method of application.
