Tinted UV Protection Oils are lightly coloured oils for exterior timber joinery, timber garden furniture, pergolas, timber doors, fascias and other trim. Not suitable for use on horizontal surfaces such as timber decking. The microporous surface allows the wood to breathe, thereby reducing swelling and shrinkage. The finish slows the greying process on vertical surfaces with a UV protection factor of 12 in comparison to untreated wood. The finish contains biocides, which are active ingredients that prevent mould, algae and fungal attack. As such, they should not be externally on outdoor tables etc where food may be eaten, or timber decking which will be walked upon. Available in 5 lightly tinted colour tones plus "Natural". UV Protection Oil Natural is optimally balanced with white pigments to retain the natural character of light coloured timbers such as pine and oak. It is not recommended for use on darker timbers such as kwila or jarrah etc, as the white pigment may give the timber a chalky appearance.

Additional Advice
Re-coat is easy. Generally, a wash down and clean is all that is needed, followed by one rejuvenation coat once the timber is dry. Where the timber has been left to grey off, the wood will need rejuvenation with a product such as Osmo's Wood Reviver Power Gel. A trial is always recommended first to determine suitability.
