Polyx®-Oil Raw is a priming oil designed to reduce/slow down the natural yellowing of timber. Polyx®-Oil Raw contains a small quantity of white pigment, which counters this yellowing of the wood's colour, leaving the surface looking as near to natural as possible.
One thin coat will keep the timber looking "Raw" as though it had nothing on it. For interior use only. It's uses include wooden flooring and wall paneling, and furniture. It is only suitable for use on light coloured wood species such as oak, pine, spruce, douglas fir and poplar etc. It is not recommended for use on dark timbers such as some rimu, jarrah and kwila, as it may give a chalky appearance to the timber.
