This hole saw cuts all sorts of insulating materials (fibreglass, rockwool, styrofoam etc.) as well as wood/chipboards and gypsum plaster boards. The cutting of solid wood with a thickness of more than 30 mm, as well as cutting of stone and metal is not possible due to the finish of the hole saw.
