Shearing Plate

The shearing plate is a versatile and high-performance plate connector designed for modern timber construction. It is suitable for absorbing shearing forces in both timber frame and solid timber construction, thanks to its various holes for anchoring in wood and concrete.

Product Uses

The shearing plate can be used in a variety of applications, including timber frame and solid timber construction. Its many slanted screw connection holes and optional holes for angle-bracket screws or anchor nails make it a highly versatile and adaptable solution for a wide range of construction projects.

  • Instructions for use:
    • 6 slanted screw connection holes and 41 holes for angle-bracket screws (ABSs) or anchor nails are provided for anchoring in wood
    • Two additional partial utilisations of the fixing holes are available as static-type calculations
    • Anchoring in concrete is carried out using the holes (Ø 14 mm) provided for this purpose with our rock concrete screw or bolt anchors
